Hebridean Sunrise

Waiting for the ferry at Leverburgh, Isle of Harris, yesterday, en route to Lochmaddy in North Uist, for a launch event for The Chessmen.

And WHAT an event. Held in the local arts centre, people just kept turning up until it was standing room only. The organiser, Peter Kerr, said he had never seen so many people for an event before.

A wonderful, warm and responsive audience!
