Refuge

I couldn't sleep so I ventured into the garden armed with a candle and flash guns.

I had been looking at the way the snow lay across the garden yesterday and the 'caves' formed by the overhangs on the bushes when, all at once, the snow from the washing line fell and made a pathway across the snowscape.

Well, it sparked an idea for today's photo and since I was up I had a go.
