Heat regulator.

I have two Sausage dogs Cassa & Roll. On weekends their treat is to sleep in the big bed (judge me as you will).

Roll has a heat regulation system while sleeping, that is to sleep on his back top-to-toe with his man parts poking out the bed.

So turning over in your sleep is not wise in my bed.
