T Wood
As a break from delving ever deeper into the “glory hotel in the attic, and after a number of email exchanges about my aunt’s estate, I headed to her house to check on post etc.
On the way up there was evidence of the snow that had been hitting other parts of Scotland more badly.
The snow helped highlight what I know as the T wood on the slopes of the Pentland Hills. From whichever angle you look at it forms the shape of a T, mainly because it a cross moulded over a mound in the landscape.
A cross of a different form occupied the evening as I attended the Kirk Session. In amongst the intricacies of Church law and procedure there was an overwhelmingly positive vote in favour of inclusion. A good end to the day.
