A very happy reunion.

It’s been three years since we’ve been in a position to take this image.  It was Christmas 2016 when Catherine and I were at home in Perth that we were all together like this.  Al and Steve have always loved coming to Melbourne for the tennis and this year is no exception.   Because the fire situation has settled down for the moment in the Blue Mountains I made a snap decision to head to Melbourne to see them all.  It was a long drive on Sunday but after an overnight stop in Benalla I headed into Melbourne in time for a delicious lunch with the troops at Steve and Carol’s apartment in Southbank.  As you can see it was a very happy occasion and definitely worth the 900 plus km’s to go to lunch with everyone :)
