Our son was in Ghent where he visited the cathedral. There he saw the altarpiece painted by the van Eyck brothers. Our son posted a photo on Instagram seen here. Blipfoto member Sister sent me a newspaper article that described the restoration of the paintings. Very interesting and enticing. This could mean another trip to the Netherlands and Belgium.
