Little Red Bug.....

I've been trying to identify this bright red insect but I've had no success, I  found a photo on Pinterest which looks spot on but unfortunately there's no i.d.  I'd walked up to the fitness centre thinking I might see something interesting to blip and there he was in the hedge. -  anything that bright has to be impossible to miss.
