The annual migration of millions of Pieridae (brown-veined white butterfly) heading away from the arid areas of SA to Mozambique and Madagascar.

They are absolutely beautiful and in such abundance you can spot them just about everywhere.

This little one came in for a visit but was soon on his way again after we opened all the windows to make his escape a little easier.

Beautiful creatures and an amazing feat when you imagine those little wings navigating such long distances.
