Hanging Out

This old railway viaduct over the Water of Leith is under repair and the scaffolding is being assembled from the top. There was a fair lot of shouting going on about how they were going to join it all up underneath the arch! Safety harnesses were much in evidence.
I was strolling over to meet JacktheLad at Roseburn where we found that the tenpin lanes were shut for repair (no scaffolding required) so had a game of snooker instead. Since Jack didn’t have his glasses and I’m rubbish at snooker, it turned out to be a close game but Jack won on the black. Which is fair enough as he actually knows what he’s doing ... when he can see.
