The Water Under the Bridge

No, no no, it's the road, cars, and people under the road.

This is one of the main south eastern roads going into Bangkok. 14 lanes underneath and 6 or 8 above (I can't exactly remember.) And here I am, standing on a walking bridge in between the two. Not a good time for an earthquake. Thankfully, there wasn't one.

I've ridden a bus into downtown along this road almost every day for the past 2 1/2 years. By now I'd consider myself an expert at riding (NOT driving) this route. I can tell you what side of the bus is better to sit in for shade and how long you can sleep until you need to start waking up and looking for important stops. I can tell you which buses will get there quicker, and which ones have extra stops, which seats are better when you have a lot of things to carry, and which ones have the best breeze.

Lol...interesting how we find ourselves unplanned "experts" at different parts of what life has given us.
