Pineapple lily

My $4 buy from a local market some months ago. She's a delight, quirky and slightly bizarre. I've read that it's related to asparagus. Pineapple lilies are in the Eucomis genus.

My toe is improving and it tells me when it's had enough. My physio suggested that I try to gently put it in a trainer and take a few steps. I last tried that a few days ago and it was too soon.

I won 1kg of licorice all sorts today. What a hoot, I'd be lucky if I ate 3 lollies in a year. I'm sure I'll find eager-beavers to share them with.

Today's gratitude: For a bbq evening with my mate. No wind, good company, warm temperatures, and good food. Nice indeed.
