Monday: Coastal Lunar Lanterns
This installation has recently appeared on Jack Poole Plaza. They are ‘Coastal Lunar Lanterns’ and denote the lunar new year as well as the local Coast Salish indigenous heritage. I saw them for the first time today - apparently they are lit up in the evening.
My boss from Ottawa and I were in Victoria today. We flew over late morning on the seaplane and came back late afternoon. The return flight was a little choppy but then this is a windy time of year to fly.
Barney has been on the catnip and appears to be quite stoned.
