Had our farewell party last night. I felt quite emotional surrounded by so many really special and generous friends, all wishing us well, giving us tips and trying to hide in our bags! There was a highly inefficient experiment regarding which way the water empties down the plug hole here. I now know! I'm also looking forward to seeing the crescent moon looking like a boat!
We had a very late night, but then enjoyed a late morning coffee with those that stayed. Busy day getting the house straight and a constant stream of adults and teenagers in and out all day. Enough done. Finished the evening with TJ & supper & wine.
Took a walk in glorious sunshine and for some reason ended up blipping an old rusting forklift on the pier.
