Birdwatch

This was the weekend of the annual RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and I finally managed to fit in an hour to watch and record the birds that came into my (not very big) garden. Nothing more exciting than lots of house sparrows, some starlings, two blackbirds (not baked in a pie), two collared doves, a feral pigeon, a robin, who dipped in and out about three times, and a coal tit, whose appearance was fleeting but it counted nonetheless.

I took quite a few photos, but not many made the final cull on Monday evening. The above was one of the lucky ones. Other events of the day went better than expected, so that wasn't too bad as Mondays go.
