Coping At Newhailes

The stable yard at Newhailes is under refurbishment, this is Danny making new coping stones for a wall by the traditional method. 

We wandered past the house and round past the grotto and memorial before heading back along the Ladies' Walk; this raised path is now a little over-grown but passable, unlike the more popular alternatives either side, which was underwater on one side (see extra, reflecting the fine, clear day) and boggy on the other.
