Third fire blip!

Our house is freezing! Today we did school under blankets because we have no electricity for 4 hours each day and the gas men had run out of gas, probably coz it's so cold everyone is using it up, so we couldn't put our heater on!

We just heard this evening that our very very good friend who was booked to visit us in February isn't able to come now because she can't get insurance. No one will insure people to travel here since the Foreign Office have said essential travel only. We are so gutted and disappointed. But the rocket attacks on the US embassy last night in Baghdad are a little concerning.
