CHRIST CHURCH

Taken on my way home from singing in a care home where the residents were all very lively and joined in every song, and none of them looked as though they desperately wanted to be elsewhere, which is sometimes the case.

I've blipped Christ Church with its current wrapping of scaffolding before. It's still the art gallery, but when I went in last week in search of some leaflets which I might be able to cannibalise for the scrapbook project, they told me that they are no longer the Tourist Information Centre. When I asked where it has moved to I was told with a meaningful look that we no longer have one. God forbid that Hartlepool should encourage tourists with their money and their economy-boosting ways!
