Auschwitz

I have just finished reading the “Librarian of Auschwitz” which was very moving and horrifying at the same time.  After visiting Auschwitz last year it is easier to picture the scenes which are discussed in the book.  I also bought “The tattooist of Auschwitz” and “Cilka’s Journey” and will read those this week although the Holocaust Museum had raised some doubts over the factual content of the books. Monday marks 75 years since the camp was liberated, but only after around a million people died there.
