Survivor

Out on the golf course the last two days. I was on the tee when two Great Egrets flew overhead. I just watched them knowing I couldn't get to the camera in time. 

I played 15 holes yesterday really well before the energy was gone. Today I played all 18 holes. The game wasn't as good but felt good to be able to finish the round.

When I was out feeding the birds, I noticed this black eyed susan peeking out of the dead foliage. I guess I am going to have to start watering again.

I am grateful this winter wasn't like last year. It has been dryer and milder. Still a bit cold for my liking, but it only lasts a short time.
