Teapot Saga 7
Sunday 26th January 2020
There was an ineviteabilitea at the start of this saga that there would be a few mishaps along the way but work still progressed on making the tea. The cosy was replaced to keep the water warm. The little people then discovered they couldn't tilt the teapot to get the tea out.
"Never mind," said Fireman Sam "I have an idea. We can use the fire hose and pump it out."
They all set to, the hose was installed, the pump started and hot tea descended to the mugs below."
Mr Grey was called in from the local cafe to serve the tea, "Call me Earl" he laughed.
"Do you take sugar?" John asked George and Mildred as Chai was standing, spade in hand, ready to shovel it up.
"Mildred doesn't, she's sweet enough" said George, with a twinkle in his eye. The thought of the tea being ready had perked him up considerably.
Mildred let out a little giggle. The atmosphere was certainly a lot lighter now.
"We did it! Mission accomplished!" shouted Bert and Fred from on high. Fred was no longer teatering on the edge of disaster but was perched safely, having a rest after all his exertions.
Earl handed a hot, steaming mug to both George and Mildred.
"Tea for two, just me and you" sang George
"Not forgetting this lot", laughed Mildred. How many men does it take to make a cuppa?"
...... Janet goes to count up how many little people had been involved, excluding George and Mildred. "That will be 16 plus one little photographer!"
"Amazing!" exclaimed Mildred. "What a saga."
"What a cuppa" agreed George. "Any more in that pot? I'm still parched."
"Plenty" laughed Earl "Enough for everyone."
TEA END
Come on then, J who made the cosy and JulesB both came up with tea words "ineviteabilitea" and "teatering" , can you come up with any more in connection with this saga?
The whole saga can be found here.
