Robin (Erithacus rubecula)

Yes another bird I know, but it is the start of the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch, not to be confused with the BTO Garden BirdWatch which I complete weekly.  I took this shot first thing hence the high ISO.

From the bird watch point of view quite a good day.  Our best hour (so the one we used had 14 species.  For the day 19 species including Bullfinch,10 Redwings, Nuthatch which are less frequent visitors to the garden.

Later we had "the Mate" round for a session planning our up coming "World Tour of Eire" (apologies to Billy Connolly for twisting his world tour of Scotland title).   Some good progress was made.
