Greater Spotted Woodpecker

There must have been a lot of people doing the RSPB Garden Birdcount this weekend as I had some difficulty in getting onto the RSPB website to log my results.  This is a female GSW as it has no red nape.

The extra shows what looks to me as if it just might be a female Common Scoter amongst the Shelducks in the Bay.  Can anyone confirm this?
