Another ‘Throwback Thursday’ Blip, this rather dark photograph was taken around thirty years ago at Lisburn in Northern Ireland.
Shown with me is my ex brother-in-law, David, we were attending the Royal Hampshire Regiments Warrant Officers Lunch.
I remember as a Royal Naval Senior Rating enjoying the formality of the event despite it being held in working dress.
The photograph now forms part of our ‘Rogues Gallery’ tucked away upstairs on the upper landing.
Elsewhere it was a day up the rugby club working alongside the rest of the ‘Thursday Gang’.
