Great Garden Birdwatch

No idea what is going on here: a heated discussion,  a fight, feeding or just affection!

We have bird food out most of the year but I have been trying to keep the feeders topped up this week for the RSPB's Great Garden Birdwatch.  I had the camera out on a tripod with a remote trigger all inside a rain-sleeve, so there is an element of spray & pray here.  Of course, all of the picturesque and/or cute birds went to the peanut and fat feeders so my blip is the argumentative greenfinches on the sunflower seeds. They did eventually eat their fill and let the others have some too :-)

Great weather for ducks!

What we saw:  Blue Tits, Coal Tit, Great Tit, Goldfinches, Green Finches, a single House Sparrow, Nuthatch, Collared Dove, Magpie & Wood Pigeons.
