Day 2 - Barbados?

Today was supposed to be a "sea day" with us heading on our way to Curaçao, but due to one plane load of passengers not leaving their airport in the UK and the associated passengers leaving the cruise ship we're here for another day.


We found out through the whisperings of the ship at a later date this was down to a crew member on the outbound flight pressing some button, releasing *all* the facemasks - so rightfully the plane needed resetting of these before it could leave.


Anyways, an extra day in Barbados - what could go wrong?
Well, in writing this weeks after the fact we found out that the caribbean is largely Roman Catholic. So, Sundays sees most things closed.
We did however get a wee bit aclimatised to the weather, found a duty free shop for some essentials and a beach to get our toes into the caribbean sea!


Back to the ship for all aboard and off we go!
