Cold Steel

Took a trip out on the bike today with intention of travelling along the cycle route to Balloch and then following over to Gartocharn and back via Carbeth. Instead however I took a trip along the road routes to Helensburgh and back via the Old steep Luss Road. It was good to get out and crack up around 30 odd miles with some decent climbing in the cold wind and flurries of snow, and only one puncture.

Also decided to catch up with my Gran on the way home and munched some oatcakes and babybels, washed down with some sugary tea.

On my return I popped the new wheels on and four new break pads, that should do me another few years. . I hope.


A well earned feast of roast pork and a great bottle of chianti.
