Tracks

I think I've been working a bit too hard recently. Yesterday I didn't leave the office till after 7.30pm, which is late even for me. No dramatic crises, just an accumulation of issues that needed to be zapped before I could leave. I hit the hay ready to stack a few zeds, only to snap awake at three in the morning with a very uncharacteristic attack of acid reflux ..... it took a cup of peppermint tea and more than an hour to ease myself back into the Land of Nod. I've spent all day today feeling weak, unmotivated and daydreaming of jaunts to different places......is this what you earthlings call being tired? ;)
Anyway no sledges were ridden today or snowmen built today. I have, however, been getting caught up in 'American Gangster', an epic, widescreen crime drama "inspired by a true story" (such a weaselly phrase). The atmosphere of 70s Noo Yoik is pungent....not that I was there at the time, you understand. It just seems like it might be kind of sort of authentic. Or something.
On to today's entry. I spied these tracks just outside my building. When I took the shot from my living room window, I thought they'd been made by a cat, maybe even this feller, but when I later went outside they were obviously too big - more like the size of the palm of my hand. There are no dogs round here that I know of....so what do you think, my bliptastic virtual friends? A fox? I do sometimes hear distant screechy wails that I'm pretty sure are foxes.....An escaped black panther?
