Common Golden Eye

We walked on the docks at the marina before we had lunch at a new restaurant overlooking the fishing boats. It was cloudy when I got this photo of a Common Golden Eye Duck; I don't think I have seen one of these in our area before. I wish there was better light because their eyes are amazing. 

We saw several Bald Eagles, but none of them was in a location where we could park our car and get a photo. There are several pairs over in this area so I might get a shot tomorrow. See you then.
