This chicken is very small...

... those chickens are far away.

Holly is by far the smallest of the three chooks (a wee Speckledy) but the most adventurous when it comes to snow. Roxy (the Light Sussex left) had a flighty panicked hop to the raised beds then just froze, uncertain what to do next; Skye meanwhile (Bluebelle on the right) had a scrabble at the back of the garden then retreated to the safety of the run.

All of which meant Holly profited alone from the sweetcorn bounty.

Nice drive round the Forth today after a garden centre visit and some stuff to get more birds into the garden - some wildlife would be good, today I was hoping for a BlipBigYear entry, but most was far away and already listed. And I'm not sure the domestic chicken will make it on there (even if I make the rules).
