Burns Night
Mr. Robert Burns - born on this day 261 years ago - was a very famous Scottish poet and lyricist.
As most of his work was written in the Lowland Scots language my understanding of it is distinctly limited. However I do like Haggis (and potatoes & swedes) and I am rather partial to a dram, so I thank Mr. Burns for inspiring the notion of Burns Night. Tonight we are having Haggis Pie with Tatties & Neeps and Whisky Sauce. Slàinte Mhath!
