The day the snow came!!

This was an exciting day! I woke up in the morning and there was no snow whatsoever. By the time I was going to school the snow had begun to fall and throughout the morning it just got heavier and heavier. By break our headteacher had said that the school was to shut at 12:20pm, I didn't have a 3rd lesson as my teacher wasn't there which meant I could leave at 11:30am!
As the snow was getting heavier and the roads were quite bad my mum didn't want to drive to collect me so I had to get two buses. On the way to the bus stop I nearly fell over quite a few times! Then I had to wait ages for the bus with two boys having a snowball fight very near by - a little too close for comfort! The second bus was PACKED and seemed to be full of old complaining men! - (perhaps that's a slight exaggeration!) By the time I got home I was cold, wet and tired! Spent the rest of the day in the warm watching the snow.
