'Cinematic' photography

went out with the 'London photographic meetup group' this evening to shoot 'cinematic style' on the South Bank. Had a great evening but realise most of my photos were in 'portrait mode' so not that 'cinematic' . We were advised to use prime lenses with wide apertures , no tripods and wait for people moving into the light. It wasn't as easy as it sounds and I need more practise, but it was great not to need to carry a lot of gear. I took too many photos and can't decide on which to blip so have added some extras. 
Just realised everyone in my photos is on their phone !
