Whipsnade Tree Cathedral

On our way to Farnham we looked for a stopping off point. Not the day to see this at its best but it made an interesting visit. The trees were planted to form the shape of a cathedral by a First World War soldier to commemorate three friends he fought with. This is the chancel and the only splash of colour that we saw.

We originally planned to come down for the Southern Orienteering Championships which unfortunately was cancelled. However it has been replaced by an event today at Starposts and a Middle event tomorrow. So we will get some exercise just a pity the weather is rather murky compared to home.
