Colour in a Monochrome World
I got up before dawn this morning and headed out on foot. The pavements were treacherous so I wore mini spikes, but trekking through snow uses different muscles than normal walking and I soon found aches in new and interesting places.
The cloud cover was total and it was bleak. Beautiful but bleak. I headed to bottom end of the moor and walked round across the edges of fields, taking many photo's as I walked on fresh snow. It was odd that I did see tracks but they were only animal tracks yet they stuck to the path. As if even though the path was invisible, ley lines had been created by decades or centuries of passage, that even wild creatures adhered to.
I was delighted to find the Golden Tree was still in beautiful vibrant colour and I took many photo's of it, eventually picking one for my blip after much deliberation!
This was the other option.
I carried on and took many photo's of downy swans and my favourite little horse;
Here, here and here.
Today's photo was a very difficult choice and I *know* I'm going to change my mind as soon as I click the Publish Button!
Hope you're enjoying your weekend Blippers! :o)
