First Primrose

Can spring be far behind?  Oh yes, when you buy them at the grocery store and it's January, no spring in sight unless it's a bad side effect of global warning. The color looks a little garish in this photo I think, but it really is a pretty and bright sight on a gray afternoon.  TGIF and a pretty low key weekend ahead.  Hoping to get to the movies maybe and lunch with a dear friend on Saturday.  Also hoping for some nice outdoor weather.
