On the edge

What a day of weather! Pouring rain, gusts of wind, moments of sunshine.
We had a walk and fortunately didn't get rained on. Walking on the trail was like walking on a shallow creek bed, so much water from all the rain we've had lately. The first extra gives a bit of an idea of how wet the trail is. It's been a busy week, and it was lovely to get out for some fresh air and exercise.
I walked around our place when we got home and spotted these tree fungi and the nibbled mushrooms in the second extra. Our seasonal creek is running and the ground is sodden. Thank goodness there's no flooding!
