As yesterday, the light was already beginning to fade before I was released (less alarming for the public that way.)
I was hoping for a haughty heron or a gaggle of geese, but ended up instead with a deceit of lapwings. A rather strange collective noun, but then, most of them are - collective nouns, that is, not lapwings.
Technically a bit of a poor shot, though I only had the one chance in dull weather, for this quick panning attempt.
