Dawn in the City

In town early this morning, and although not as much there are we have at home, there was enough snowfall to give it that ridiculous beauty that transforms Edinburgh in winter.

I had a magical walk through Princes St Gardens, which was open with the path cleared, but not another soul around. Took lots of shots of the Castle looking amazing in monochrome, but it was this earlier shot at the Scott Monument that made it for blip - I liked the angle and the light.
