Restoration Job

This is a new project which I have going right now. It will probably take me forever but "a little bit, a little bit there"!!
What you are looking at is part of a collection of glass plates which Mrs JB brought back with her from Finland. There is also a big collection of medium format negatives. All were the property of her late mother and date back to the 1940's. These are a valuable part of her family history and would possibly have vanished forever, unseen and unrecognised. It's my job now to scan them and see what we have managed to salvage.
What of our digital equivalents though. Will anybody be able to do anything with them in 2080?
