Picked up a nice little girlie-bike so that I can have something to ride on while I sing songs from the Sound of Music ... no ... wait a minute, that's not right.

Picked up a nice little girlie-bike that looks like it will, after a bit of love and some upgrades, do a nicer job than her current ill-advised mountain bike of transporting Mandy to her gym and back and maybe a little run around the Netherlands. I'll build new wheels with a dynamo hub and hub brakes to get rid of the rubbish caliper brakes (and see if M's OK with only a front brake - it's got a three-speed hub gear so it would be a shame to ditch that needlessly), put some dynamo lights on it, new saddle and buff up the chrome. I like the chain wheel with its Raleigh logo.
