The Beauty of Nature

I found this piece of wood on my travels some time ago, and it has been weathering further in the garden since then. When I noticed that Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday challenge this week was “Nature” it seemed a good opportunity to dig it out and get some images.  I love the knots and textures, and it’s  slightly damp condition enhances the effect.
