Misty Channelside walk

The plan was to walk along Channelside, up to the top of the old slagbank and round but the mist was getting thicker and the top had disappeared so we kept to the lower level.

I managed a quick blip of these teasles with Walney Island just  visible in the distance.. soon disappearing in the mist.

The wooden bridge is still  closed off but we climbed through the fence ....and risked it. Theres a few old planks that need replacing but it isnt so bad.. but as it's been like this for months it ll get worse . I hope it won't  be too long before its repaired as it cuts a lovely long walk in half

A nip into Asda to get Turkey steaks for Fletch .. touch wood he seems ok on it. Just as well as hes not keen on anything else

Quite a low key day.. for some reason its felt like a Sunday.  Lol
