Heart Of The Diamond

Inside the Black Diamond or The National Library to be more correct there is this bridge that links the centuries old library with the leaning glass modern half. It is quite a profound juxtaposition as you walk from science fiction to leather bound tomes and wooden desks. The weird thing is you hardly notice the transformation, clever stuff and worth a visit, if for no other reason than the national photographic museum is down stairs....which I still haven't seen - so don't ask.
