Bonds

We drove to Bonds at Dodwell this morning.  Bonds is a large barn comprising many antique and other retail outlets.  They also have quite a nice cafe which is where we were heading for a coffee and peppermint tea.  Apparently if you take a picture and tag them on social media you receive a free coffee. I only saw this after we'd paid for the drinks, still I took a photo and posted it on Instagram (frank.stead), maybe I'll get a free drink next time?

There was a display of grasses and fir cones near the entrance.  I've enhanced messed about with the picture I took of it for today's Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg,  theme Nature. The extra is a strategically placed cabinet in one of the retail outlets.

This afternoon we went to the Everyman Cinema in Bell Court, the Picture House now being closed, to see the film 1917.  An excellent film directed by Sam Mendes. It displays the horrors of the First World War combined with a great story of courage and endurance.
