Winter walkies

Hollow Ponds.

Took a lovely long walk around Hollow Ponds (part of Epping Forest) today. It's literally on our doorstep but we hardly ever go as the Hubster is convinced that there are 'weirdos' hiding behind
trees 'waiting to get you'. I grew up walking and playing all over the beautiful Epping Forest and therefore have no problem with aforementioned weirdos.

Anyway, today we made it over there and it was lovely. Hollow Ponds takes on a magical, mysterious beauty when it's covered in snow and the lake and many little ponds are frozen over. It was eerily quiet apart from a few little ones sledging and a few dogs bouncing around. We might even make it back tomorrow if the snow comes again.
