Reunion dinner 1

Today is the 'night afore', before Chinese New Year's Eve. The girls started their CNY holidays today but their parents were working so a Granny day.

We started by doing some tidying and cleaning, bathrooms, floors. Then a walk n up to 1MK to get call, visit Village Grocer, cancel an appointment etc etc.

Home made pizza and cake for lunch then a couple of hours in the pool. It was slightly cloudier than yesterday but still very hot. I talked to a neighbour while the girls swam. The International School isn't on holiday so the pool was quiet.

Came back up to do our nails and then once everyone was home we set off for Cheras for reunion dinner with aunts, uncles and cousins. The traffic was awful, there was a rainstorm and Waze sent us on a very interesting route. The food however was wonderful. I was very hungry. Especially good was the chicken with honey and sesame and the lotus root with green beans and mangetout.

Back to Mont Kiara ton drop off #1 son and the girls and then down to KLIA to pick up J and D, another reunion. Midnight before we got back to Mont Kiara and still very hot.
