Eyes on the prize

Missy simply adores chasing her ball - and, once the first excitement of getting out of the car and hooning around like a lunatic has passed she's brilliant at bringing it back.
All of which helped to make a cold damp grey walk on the fell a lot more fun than it could have been.

A really good networking meeting this morning and finally a bit of paid work from it :-)
Just like when we ran our business I've found the other real benefit of the group has been access to a group of experts*. So also secured some excellent advice about event booking platforms - which should make my future life less stressful.

*Life Lesson - not all experts are experts. My current favourite gripe is people selling their entrepreneurial skills & lifestyle gurus. About 90% of those I've met actually got "where they are today" by working for someone else, taking a payout & paying off their mortgage.
** Doesn't apply to the lovely Brad who was today's guest speaker. A Salford lad made good,  a pleasure to meet another survivor.
