Sunbathing deer

This fine fellow decided to come and rest awhile in the sun. After eating some shoots and old leaves he found a comfy spot at the back of our garden. It looked like he has some old injury on his back leg where the fur had not grown back. Could have been coyotes, a dog or may be a car. Spent most of the afternoon taking it easy with two other deer before leaving with his friends.
