The golden temple Kinkakujicho, Kyoto

Travelled around the temple sites today simply stunning - I loved the gardens so serene. Did the golden and silver temples, the latter we walked to along the philosophers walk, a lovely cherry tree lined path by a little water way. We are here in December, I imagine in April when the cherry blossom is in full force it is even more beautiful (if that is possible!)
