False Spring

We were out for a wander this morning and you’d think it was the middle of Spring. Shrubs, trees and heather are in bloom, daffs and tulips are emerging, birds are building nests already for heavens sake. One good, hard frost and it’ll be a shock for them all!
There’s a pink-berried rowan just around the corner and it was attracting a family of thrushes for a pink berry feast. Click.

We’re just back from seeing the latest Star Wars film. Have to say I thought it was good but not fantastic, felt a bit too much effort went into tidying everything up - and where was the humour? Anyway, we’d a very fine pizza afterwards.
Home now and nervously following the Jambos who desperately need to win tonight. Not a single shot on goal in the first half though ..... sigh.
